A staple Food Manufacturer in the UK market, creating beloved and delicious chilled products for the major retailers. A driving Food force this company looks to build on their quality reputation and establish themselves into new markets with an innovative and sustainable approach. They are now seeking an assured Development professional to join them on their evolving train of success. 

The Role

Supporting the NPD team you will possess the know-how to deliver the NPD Process from concept to launch in line with customer category requirements and the overarching company agenda. You will be at home working in a fast paced chilled food environment, smoothly navigating and operating the required administrative tasks within the development department. Working collaboratively with a variety of departments you will effectively communicate across sites and multiple teams to successfully carry out given tasks and solve any problems that arise. You will understand the factory processes and have an appreciation for each cog that continues to make the business turn. You will use your initiative and ability to cope under pressures to meet any new or urgent tasks that come your way

The Person

We are looking for a motivated self-starter who has a passion for food and an eagle eye for detail. This would suit a computer savvy individual who has a degree in Food Science or similar subject along with a positive can-do attitude.  A confident and skilled communicator with expert interpersonal skills that gives you the ability to work cross functionally.  You’ll have excellent time management & organisation skills coupled with the initiative to effectively prioritise and manage your own workload.
