Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing this is an exciting opportunity to become a crucial part of this thriving company. You will be responsible for boosting the performance of the sales team by working hand in hand with the BDMs to support them and the customer through the entire sales process. Whilst offering this support you will be able to utilize your excellent customer service and sales skills to win some new business of your own by conducting cold calls to new and dormant accounts.
Being a growing company means our clients phones are getting busier everyday with new and existing customers dialling in. Being the Sales Support Manager you’ll be the first point of contact for inbound calls where you will be screening leads and following up yourself or by flagging these to the sales team.
You’ll also be taking ownership of all elements of the tender process, measure sales data from promotional events or NPD and develop new sales strategies for the business.
We are looking for someone with experience in a sales support position where you will have gained an excellent customer service, sales acumen and really strive to your customer first - going the extra mile.
You’ll need to understand the process involved with bids/tenders like the back of your hand whilst being able to manage your time and the time of others effectively.
In an ideal world you’ll have a love and passion for food and be interested in working for a food manufacturer. Experience in this sector would be even better but not a requirement.
